Governance
MCB aims to be a Decentralised Autonomous Organisation. This means decision-making ultimately rests with our token holders rather than a centralised authority.
MCB would allow holders to propose and vote on governance proposals to determine future features, upgrades and/or parameters of the MCB platform, or provide feedback. Voting will occur through a portal where token holders are able to start proposals which will be voted on by other MCB holders. The portal will also act as an open forum for members to discuss the various proposals.
Guidelines and Procedures for MCB Voting:
All governance proposals should be submitted through the portal on the platform's website.
Proposals should be clearly written and include a detailed explanation of the proposed change or upgrade.
Proposals should be open for a minimum of 14 days to allow all token holders to have a chance to vote.
A quorum of at least 10% of the total outstanding MCB tokens must vote on the proposal for it to be considered valid.
Voting will be weighted by the number of MCB tokens held by each voter.
The proposal must receive a minimum of 51% of the weighted vote in order to pass.
All votes will be publicly viewable on the platform's website to ensure transparency and accountability.
The platform will communicate with the community via social media and email to ensure all users are aware of proposals and voting procedures.
Disclaimer:
The right to vote is restricted solely to voting on features of the MCB platform; it does not entitle MCB holders to vote on the operation and management of the Company, its affiliates, or their assets or the disposition of such assets to token holders, or select the board of directors or similar bodies of these entities, or determine the development direction of these entities, nor does MCB constitute any equity interest in any of these entities or any collective investment scheme; the arrangement is not intended to be any form of joint venture or partnership. After governance launch there will be no individual or corporate entity or other active promoter, sponsor, or group or affiliated party that maintains sole control over the MCB platform.
